Inergia was founded in 2003 with the strategic diversification of the Santarelli group, a leader in Italy’s real estate industry. It decided to become a leader in the renewable energies and sustainable development industry as well in order to grasp the investment opportunities available in Italy and abroad.

MISSION

Achieving leadership, developing new projects, acquiring shares in projects underway, and investing in systems for producing electric energy from renewable sources, to be built and managed directly, and in systems of distributed generation and applications for energy efficiency in construction and industrial sectors.

OBJECTIVES

Expand rapidly to achieve 200 MW of installed power in the short term. To these ends, Inergia has obtained and is cultivating an important portfolio of potential projects for over 600 MW in many areas in and outside of Italy in different technologies, including: wind, solar, biomass and energy efficiency.

CORE BUSINESS

Inergia follows three specific investment directions that cover every phase of development, implementation and assessment, including:

• Generation of electric energy with renewable or assimilated energy plants (wind, biomass, large-scale solar, small hydroelectric, cogeneration on a small and medium scale and waste heat recovery).


• Distributed generation (such as photovoltaic solar systems and mini turbines) and applications for energy efficiency, incentivized by "White Certificates"


• Definition and development of business opportunities and/or specific projects in targeted foreign countries.
